How this works
Each project type has a milestone template calibrated from observed timelines: papers accepted at top venues spend roughly half their runway on experiments, a quarter on drafting, and a quarter on internal review and polish. The generator anchors the submission date and walks backwards through every milestone, marking the ones that have already slipped.
